Men Called To Lead
In a culture driven by selfish motives, Godly men are scrutinized and pressured to conform to the the view points of the world around us. The Bible tells us in 1 John 2:16, “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.” This kind of view point tells men that if they are not fulfilling one of these desires in their lives, then they are not really a man. That is simply not true. The truth of the matter is that men everywhere want to be morally right but lack the courage it takes to make a stand. Here, at The Potter’s House Of Norwalk, we believe it is important to invest in men. The kind of investment that positively affects the families of our community, that is why on the last Thursday of every month, we have a mens meeting with a devotional and some food. We talk about what God is doing in our lives and what we want to see God do in our futures. Come join other men, as we strive to grow closer to God by growing closer to one another.
